Chris a sustainability leader & ESG expert with 24 years' experience. Chris has experience in: corporate social responsibility; green buildings; renewable energy; operational performance improvement; environmental management systems; environmental law; sustainability reporting; and sustainability communication. Chris has worked as an Environmental Lawyer, Sustainability Consultant, and Corporate Head of ESG. Chris now works at Scape, which is a Real Estate Investment and Operations Manager, based in Australia. Scape has 34 operational real estate assets, home to over 17,000 students, and is moving into Build to Rent. Scape's vision is to be the Earth’s Best Living Company. Chris also built a sustainable home which his family of 5 live in. It is the first Green Star Homes rated building in Australia, and was the 17th in the world to achieve PassivHaus Premium Certification. It is zero net carbon in operation, with net zero annual energy costs, and very low embodied carbon. Chris was the Chair of the Board of Directors of the Australian PassivHaus Association for 5 years.

Su-Fern is Head of ESG for CBRE Pacific Region, responsible for driving best practice ESG solutions for clients and for CBRE. She has led some of the world’s largest sustainability transformation programs and designed some of Australia’s greenest buildings. Su-Fern advises several industry bodies in Australia and the United States and has most recently been working with the City of New York on Local Law 97, the world’s first building carbon cap and trade scheme. She is an engineer by background. Su-Fern has held senior roles at WSP, Arup, Alexandria Real Estate Equities, and Prescriptive Data; and has held advisory roles to the US Green Building Council and the Green Building Council of Australia.
